Easter was a nice and lazy day. My girls got home from their New York vacation at 1am Easter Sunday. They had a blast and loved the city. They came home and asked if we could move there. Bonnie came over for dinner and colored eggs with us. Mark was at work so she took him a plate. What a wonderful day.
The girls come home tomorrow night around mid-night. I can't wait I haven't seen them for a week. Their Dad took them to New York. They are having so much fun. They asked if we could move there. They've been so busy from morning to night. Seeing all New York has to offer. I better watch out they just might decide its the city for them. They are both artsy people. Well I better get fresh beds and easter baskets ready for the girls when they come home.
These are two of my favorite People. Bonnie and Mark. They run the best scrapbook retreat in California. Bonnie and I will be in hiding for 5 days no Mom's or Kid's. I can't wait untilSaturday. We are going to do whatever we want to do when we want to. It should be fun. I know we will get in some shopping. Maybe take a drive to find the wild flowers. It will be relaxing and long awaited down time for both of us!!!
This is the life.... someday this will be me and my Night in Shinny Armor. I've always wanted an airstream trailer, and that sky...WOW!!!! That is my night in shinny armor. Some day my Night will come....
Today Bonnie and I went hunting for vintage goodies for swaps. And of course I found the most adorable doll that I used to have when I was about 4 or 5. My grandfather used to collect them for me when he filled up the gas tank at the local station. It brings back old memories. I ended up with 3 new dolls. I think they were called Dolls from around the World or Story Book Dolls. I found some on e-bay and bought a few more like four more. What a wonderful day and some wonderful memories.
I love this time of the year Spring Forward..... Which means spring is coming and the nights will last longer. No longer will I come home after work to darkness! I girls will be heading to New York the week before Easter with their Dad to see their Grandma Anne (his Mom). So I'm taking off that week to hang out with Bonnie we both need time to recharge.
